Mission:

The role requires to manage the insource of the overall Hungarian statutory accounting, to develop and streamline the audit procedures and to secure the financial control at Group level.

Your tasks include:

• As a sole person responsible for the end-to-end statutory accounting of the two Hungarian business entities, including tax returns, tax optimization and payroll
• Full set up and implementation of a new accounting system for the HU entities
• Supports integration and consolidation of the HU entities into Group reporting
• Financial closure is performed every month in a timely and accurate manner. All statutory submissions are prepared, reviewed and submitted by the deadline
• All reconciliations are prepared and necessary information is provided for group reporting consolidation.
• Works directly with the CFO to set up and operate and monitor internal controls, financial processes and makes sure they are performed timely and accurately for the whole company group
• Maintains and tracks fixed assets, depreciation
• Preparing all relevant supporting documentation, maintaining all necessary electronic and manual filing systems;
• Set up and control the necessary processes to support audits with structured archiving and quickly accessible corporate and judicial documentation for the whole group
• Coordinates all financial matters and registration processes, prepares the tax statements and returns for contractors of the HU entity

You should have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance AND Registered Chartered Accountant

10+ years of general accounting experience preferably as a chief-accountant

Positive, hands-on, “can-do” attitude

Hands-on experience working with general ledgers, tax authorities, payroll administration

Experience in audits and system implementations

Strong computer and Excel knowledge

Meets critical deadlines; ensures prepared materials are accurate and complete.

Prefers working in a small team, following direct orders well.

Being a fast learner, flexible; good communication skills are a plus.

Excellent ENGLISH written and verbal communication skills.
