DIGISEC MEDIA GROUP – home of the internationally successful brand VictoriaMilan.com – is seeking a Junior Accountant / Accounting Intern – a skillful and effective, hands-on member of an ever-growing team, with expertise in basic data entry (general bookkeeping and accounting), and outstanding focus and accuracy and a can-do (!!!) attitude.

Our company group headquartered in Budapest consists of several internationally registered companies located in Hungary, Norway, Malta, USA which provides the opportunity of working in a multinational environment both from a professional and personal experience standpoint.

You will be involved in performing general bookkeeping and accounting tasks (in accordance with IFRS), posting supplier/intercompany invoices, and booking bank statements. You will  also be involved in ensuring internal controls are in place and monitored, financial processes are performed timely and accurately, preparing all relevant documentation and supporting audits with structured archiving and quikly accessibly corporate and judicial documentation. You – as a part of a dedicated team – will also have the chance to be involved in challenging finance-driven projects, making sure we are constantly improving for perfection. We are aiming for the stars and want the best in the industry, as such our management team requires a super-star finance team as a reliable basis for performance measurement and planning.

You should have:

Positive, hands-on, “can-do” attitude

Excellent ENGLISH written and verbal communication skills.

0-1 years of general accounting experience

Ongoing studies in Accounting or Finance or Chartered Accountancy (Registration is not required.)

Strong computer and Excel knowledge

Meets critical deadlines; ensures prepared materials are accurate and complete

Prefers working in a small team, following direct orders well

Being a fast learner and good communication skills are a plus

QuickBooks knowledge is an asset (but not a must).
